Tata Projects, Hyderabad volunteers have undertaken an initiative on creating awareness
on health, hygiene, water and sanitation in the RO plant installed village to make
a positive contribution to the society. Tata Projects provided safe drinking water
facility and to create awareness, the volunteers conducted a street walk and visited
the households. They sensitized the community on the importance of safe drinking
water, conservation of water, personal hygiene, and clean sanitation. They also
distributed pamphlets.

Tata Motors Pune organised a cycle rally to raise awareness on the issue of road
safety. Over 1,200 Tata Motors' employees and their family members participated
in this rally. This rally started from Tata Motors' colony in Pimpri, Pune and the
cyclists went around Pimpri-Chinchwad area (15+ Km.) spreading the message of road
safety.

Tata Steel Ltd. Global Wires, India (WD), CSR council and Tis Wish organized a celebration
of "Tribal School Teacher Day" in seven Z. P. schools of Palghar District at Z.
P. School TAPS Colony, Boisar. The team felicitated teachers and appreciated their
contribution to the growth of children. During the programme, the team arranged
various games to entertain school teachers.

Volunteers from various groups organised a Tree plantation activity in Keshavpuram
on 5 th Sept, 2018. Saplings were arranged from different sources like Environment
Department of Delhi Govt., Private Sapling Nurseries etc. Saplings of Sadabahar,
Jamun, Papita etc. were planted during the activity.

Road show for spreading social messages

Volunteers along with the local police station staff participated in a "road show",
holding placards for a 5 km stretch wherein the importance of road safety, life
safety, blood donation, saving of water & many other social messages were displayed
to the general public. A flash mob was organised at the main junction on the importance
of wearing a helmet while riding a bike, dangers of drink and drive, talking over
phone while driving etc.

Volunteers of Finance & Accounts Department of Tata Power-DDL visited at Vocational
training centre, Inderlok to distribute stationary among community beneficiaries
on 7 th September 2018. Team of volunteers have spent quality time with community
beneficiaries and also conduct quiz competition. The activity was graced by Senior
Employees; DGM – F&A.

An awareness programme was organized on multiple topics such as women empowerment,
the abolition of child marriage and the importance of girls education along with
health and hygiene. A general Health checkup camp was conducted by the estate medical
team. A total of 102 children, teachers and parents of the children were thoroughly
checked, advised and issued free medicines accordingly.

Coaching session for youth

A professional coaching program for track & field events were organized for the
students of Tinplate Community Schools. A Professional Coach from Tinplate Sports
Department and a colleague from CSR Department gave special training to the athletes
of the schools on how to perform well in their sports activities and the extra care
needs to be taken in order to remain physically fit. Students were also guided on
physical exercises and warm-ups to remain focused.

TCE employees conducted cleaning awareness session amongst dairy farm owners. Cleaning
items like phenyl & bleaching powder were distributed amongst the dairy farm workers.
Benefits of cleanliness were explained to avoid outburst of epidemic diseases like
dengue, flies borne illness. Proper disposal of waste & its reuse was discussed.
