On the occasion of plantation drive of Delhi Govt., more than 1,000 volunteers from
various groups of Tata Power-DDL organised a plantation drive in their respective
districts. Saplings were arranged from different sources like Environment Department
of Delhi Govt., Private Sapling Nurseries etc. Saplings of Sadabahar, Jamun, Papaya,
Tulsi, pipal, neem, sadabahr etc. were planted during the activity.

JUSCO FMC & CSR department Volunteers organized a Plantation drive at Dugani village.
Their team along with the villagers planted total 500 seasonal fruit trees. The
team also enlightened the villagers on how to save the environment by planting trees.
Volunteers also distributed JUSCO Logo ‘T’ shirts to the youth who were also involved
in tree plantation drive at the village.

A team of volunteers from TSPDL went to Asha Niketan, an NGO that runs by people
both with and without disability located in Tangra, Kolkata. The volunteers conducted
a drawing competition for the children and helped them to draw and colour their
drawing. An entertainment program for the children was also organised in which volunteers
sang songs and showed them fun videos.

A team of volunteers from TSPDL organised a sit and draw competition for the children
of Sukhtara School. The volunteers distributed the stationary items like crayons,
erasers, pencils, sharpeners, drawing sheets to the children and guided them to
colour. They also distributed prizes to the winners for their best drawings. An
entertainment program was also conducted in which all the children participated
and enjoyed the program. At the end of the program, goodies were distributed to
all the children

A meeting-cum-orientation program for newly created M/s. Trishakti Udyog, an Affirmative
Action vendor of Govindpur village, was organised by CSR department, with the participation
of related company departments. 10 company volunteers and 10 SHG members participated
in the programme. The objective was to develop a local enterprise to supply fresh
vegetables for the company canteen.

A convocation program was organized by the Employees of TCIL for the CHP trainees
of Tinplate Hospital. These trainees come from rural areas of Jharkhand and are
enrolled as semi nursing staff at Tinplate Hospital. The objective of the program
was to facilitate these young girls for their dedication and hard work which they
have shown during the training and for successfully completing the two years course
at Tinplate Hospital.

from whereby the local police - pedestrians and motorists alike were involved, the
road and traffic safety issues were further highlighted and shared with the public.
