15 employees from the Herndon office volunteered for backpack coalition run by the Loudoun Education Foundation. The volunteer packed 300 bags with assorted food items - tuna fish, peanut butter and jelly, and baking mix for distribution to local schools.
  Protection of pollinators Tata Chemicals  |  Mithapur
A "Protect our Pollinators" awareness session was organized for students of two schools at Mithapur. TCL volunteers enlightened the students and teachers on the ecosystem services provided by pollinators and the reasons for their population decline in the recent times. Students were also motivated to maintain regular records of flowering of plants and trees in and around their campus.

250 volunteers of Udaan Cultural Club and Sports welfare council of Tata Power-DDL organized a walkathon and Cycle Rally at Hudson Lane, Delhi. The aim was to raise awareness in the neighborhood on green Diwali, energy conservation, green environment and climate change and motivate beneficiaries to seek skill enhancement, education, health services through various initiatives run by Tata Power-DDL.

Volunteers interacted with children and discussed their areas of concerns and challenges in their lives. Volunteers organized various activities for the children as drawing and quiz competition.

Tata Technologies volunteers visited Zilla Prashad School no 43 at Majiwada, Thane. Lectures on "Bad Habits of Tabbaco" was given by a senior leader. They also distributed drawing books, crayon colors pencil boxes, chocolates, biscuits and water bottles. They also distributed plants and earthen pots to the school.

TCL employee volunteers and family members organized an environmental awareness program for students at the Arambda village school near Mithapur. Nature games were conducted to enlighten the students on the importance of pollinators and the need to protect the same. An audio-visual show was also organized in this regard. Also, a skit on the menace of plastics was presented.
