  Drawing competition Rallis India  |  Panvel
 
Rallis volunteers visited Z P school Bhingar near Panvel and conducted a drawing & painting competition for 7th & 8th standards students. Students were asked to draw a picture based on "Nature" mentioning a motivational message. Volunteers supported them by giving ideas to draw the picture and message.
 
  Awareness session Tata Pigments  |  Jamshedpur
 
Tata Pigments conducted an awareness session on Menstrual hygiene & sanitation. 150 girls participated in this.
 
  Visit to a school Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Pune
 
The MVML team of 15 volunteers visited a primary school at a nearby village and explained to students regarding the importance of plantation, disposal of plastics in safe manner and safety to an audience of 200 students. After that, during the closing ceremony of safety week, all workers and staff of contractors were given lectures on the plantation, Housekeeping, safety, water and electricity saving at MVML Chakan premises.
 
  Cleanliness drive Tata Consulting Engineers  |  Jamshedpur
 
A cleanliness drive was conducted on Dalma trekking pathway and the DFO guest house area within the Dalma wildlife sanctuary by Tata Consulting Engineers. Plastic material and nondisposable items were collected. The objective of this trek was to focus on cleanliness drive "Trekking for Trash" and development of the human potential through teamwork which will garner team spirit.

Volunteers visited Kabiriya Urdu School, Dhatkidih & briefed the students on Environment and Road safety awareness. The presentation included air pollution, water pollution and its effect on human life and its severity in India. Further importance of green energy and water conservation was also explained to the students. The students were introduced to the present road safety scenario. After Presentation, they started the drawing competition wherein students were asked to put their understanding and thoughts about the environment and road safety on a drawing sheet.
 
  Health check-up Amalgamated Plantations  |  Assam
 
Amalgamated Plantations visited Jorpukhri L.P. School wherein 112 students of Class II to V were examined for anaemia, Hb estimation, deworming and iron supplements. 10 students were found to be cases of mild to moderate anaemia. The school teachers were advised to give awareness to the students on this.
 
  First Book reading party Tata Global Beverages  |  New York
 
Tata Global Beverages organized a First Book Reading Party with Jaguar Land Rover employees. The aim was to remove barriers to quality education for all kids by making everything from new, high-quality books and educational resources to sports equipment, winter coats, and snacks more affordable to its member network of more than 400,000 educators.The 135 students were separated into smaller groups and the Tata volunteers were able to read the book aloud with their group of students. Each student was able to read along with them as they received their own copy of the book to keep. First Book also donated 5,000 books to schools throughout the district.

A team of 26 Volunteers from Ginger Hotel Chennai Vadapalani fed the birds in SIMS park, Chennai.
 
  Awareness session Ginger Hotels  |  Mysore
 
Volunteers from Team Ginger Mysore visited few areas at Mysore & met street food vendors and inquired about the hygiene measures taken while cooking. They shared information about food safety and hygiene practices like not to keep disposing of garbage in open lid bins, use hand gloves while serving the food, washing hands before and after handling raw or cooked food, to keep short clean nails and not to keep washing utensils in open. They also advised them to provide safe water to customers & keep the area clean.
 
  Women's Day Celebration Tata Sponge Iron  |  Bileipada
 
30 volunteers of UDAAN ladies group celebrated Women's Day with the village children at the Residential Bridge Course Centre. An interactive session was conducted in the presence of 90 children. Subjects like gender equality were discussed. Food packets were distributed among the children after the event.
 
  Vaccination campaign Tata Sponge Iron  |  Bileipada
 
19 volunteers assembled to conduct a Pulse Polio Vaccination campaign at Bileipada market area. The campaign continued for 2 days, with 140 young children being vaccinated from the nearby villages.
