Tata Steel Bearings team visited NABOJIBON, a Home for the abandoned mentally and physically challenged people. The team spent time interacting with the habitants, sharing stories and lifting their spirits. They raised funds within their team and distributed snacks and toiletries for daily needs.

TCE volunteers organized a blood donation camp at TATA Medical Center at Kolkata. Total 15 volunteers donated blood in this program.

Volunteers participated in the inauguration of the kitchen and distribution of the "Prasadam" cooked first time in the inaugurated kitchen to all the students, staff and other participants/ volunteers. The objective and purpose of this program was to ensure that "no child goes to school hungry ever" and with this initiative, students would get freshly cooked breakfast everyday.
 
  Annual Report Card day Tata Bluescope Steel  |  Jamshedpur
 
Volunteers from Tata BlueScope Steel, Jamshedpur plant participated in the report card day of Navodaya Adiwasi Prathmik Vidyalaya, Babudih where final academic results were announced to the students and their parents and report cards were distributed. Volunteers gave the report cards to the students. Volunteers along with honorary members present there boosted the morale of the students on their performance and going to new classes.

Volunteers from Tata BlueScope Steel, Jamshedpur plant interacted with the women Self Help Group (SHG) of Babudih and Lalbhatta basti to sensitize the women about SHG and its relevance in their empowerment. Volunteers enquired from the group on how SHG is benefiting them and how often they meet to listen and solve each other problems. Women discussed their work interest areas and daily necessities/issues that they try to address with the help of SHGs.
 
  Women’s day celebration Tata AIA Life Insurance  |  Mumbai
 
Tata AIA Life Insurance invited Nanhi Kali's from KC Mahindra trust to their office to connect with the employees and organized a corporate tour for them. Volunteers gave them an overview of the corporate world to motivate them to continue with their education. A walk around the office was conducted post which the girls were addressed by senior women leaders of the organization.
 
  Educational kit distribution Tata Motors   |  Jamshedpur
 
Total 45 Volunteers from ERC-Jamshedpur visited Hartopa Primary School at Potka with educational stationary items including note books, pencils, crayons, pens, etc. and sports items like football, cricket set, skipping rope, volleyball, etc. for the underprivileged students. They also gave chair -table sets, whiteboard sets, wall clock and calculator for school use.
 
  Save Water awareness Ginger Hotels  |  Chennai
 
Ginger Hotel Chennai Vadapalani volunteers created awareness on the importance of saving water. They took this awareness drive to the nearby MMDA Colony, Thirunagar and Vadapalani residential areas. 30 team and family members participated in this activity.
 
  Cleanliness drive Tata Projects  |  Noida
 
A team of 14 employees from Tata projects conducted a cleaning drive at Noida. This initiative was designed to bring awareness to save the environment with the support of the community. The volunteers showed a lot of enthusiasm in cleaning the lake and collecting all the litter in bags for disposal. They also spread awareness to the community about the importance of cleanliness and how it will help in the long run and requested people to keep the environment clean and use dustbins to dispose garbage.

34 volunteers took the initiative of cleaning the surrounding land of Cheshire home for old age people. Games were organized for the habitants and dance performances by the volunteers brought a smile on their faces. The volunteers also cooked and served food to them.
 
  Visit to a non-profit Ginger Hotels  |  Mangalore
 
Ginger hotels visited Saanidhya- residential school for mentally challenged children. Volunteers danced to songs to entertain the children and played games with them. The also served snacks to all.
 
  Inter-anganwadi competition Tata Sponge   |  Bileipada
 
14 Volunteers of Vidya Shakti Niyas organized an inter-anganwadi competition among 30 anganwadis during the entire month of March. The AWS were rated on their performance on the aspects of education, health & overall development of the anganwadi children. The felicitation program was organized at VSN Training Hall, Bileipada. An awareness session on health & hygiene, education etc was conducted and the best AWS were presented with awards by the dignitaries present.
 
  Health checkup camp Amalgamated Plantations   |  Assam
 
Amalgamated Plantations organized a general health checkup camp with the distribution of free medicines at Bamunni Pathar Govt. L.P. School, Bamunigaon.
 
  Diabetes camp Tata Coffee  |  Tamilnadu
 
Free Diabetes camp was conducted in Tata coffee health center by providing free treatment free insulin, tablets and syringes for nearby communities. 12 Volunteers actively participated in this drive benefiting over 100 people through the camp.

A free medical camp was organized at Jeyamangalam village for all age group. 10 Volunteers actively participated in this drive benefiting over 200 people through the camp.
 
  Womens day celebration Tata Coffee  |  Tamilnadu
 
Various activities and awareness programs were conducted for all contract women workforce of the factory by Tata Coffee at Theni. The initiative was aimed at gender equality, a greater awareness of discrimination and a celebration of women's achievements. Over 100 Women participated in this program.

The team spent with the kids by engaging singing and other activities. Training conducted on the importance of global warming and tree plantation was also carried out in the school with the support of children. The team distributed sweets among the children. Totally 250 Students benefitted through this drive. Volunteers conducted sessions on global warming for the students and planted trees with them. They also spent time engaging with the kids with singing and other activities.
