About Tata Volunteering Week 3

Tata Volunteering Week 3 or TVW3 was celebrated from March 3, 2015 to April 5, 2015. All companies across the Tata group offered a wide range of volunteering opportunities for its employees, family members and retirees to join hands and align its strength towards a singular purpose to make a difference in the community. Over a period of one month, 20,000+ volunteers participated In 850+ activities to support 500+ partners.

This volunteering week also marked the completion of one year of glorious participation in the group-wide volunteering programme, Tata Engage. To celebrate this milestone, the group adopted the theme, 'Me for We' for TVW-3, representing every individual of the Tata family coming together to become part of a larger united 'We'. A quintessential example of this collaboration was a Flash mob organized by Indian Hotels at the famous Churchgate Station in Mumbai. 65+ volunteers from Tata Teleservices, Trent, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Starbucks and Tata Mutual Fund participated in the flashmob to spread awareness of importance of hygiene and sanitation amongst citizens, in line with the Swachh Bharat national campaign
