12 volunteers from Tata Projects visited a Govt. Primary School, Mahavir Marg, Gandhinagar,
Indore on “International Day for Charity’’. School bags, stationery kits along with
snacks & sweets were distributed to all student of the school. Volunteers spent
time with the children to bring a smile on all their faces.

5 volunteers from Tata Projects visited a primary school in Mamidipudi village.
The team organized a speech competition for Teachers day. Prizes were distributed
to the winners. The volunteers motivated the students to concentrate on their studies
and reflected on their role in nation building. Chocolates and biscuits were distributed
to the students.

WREL-Rajasthan organized a "Hand wash" awareness session in school. They reached
150 students through this awareness drive. Several demos on Hand wash were conducted
during this session. They also briefed the students on the benefits of hand wash.

5 volunteers of Rallis India Limited, Lote unit visited Nutan Vidyalaya and celebrated
Teachers' Day with the teachers and the students. They arranged a tree plantation
drive at the school premises. A total of 34 teachers and other staff members were
present at the celebration along with volunteers. They distributed pens to the teachers
as a token of gratitude and thanks.

Overall 75 officers and employees donated blood.

Tata Sponge organized a motivation camp for unemployed girls at its Learning & Development
center. The program focused on encouraging girls to take up sewing training program
through its employability scheme. Around 32 girls from the surrounding villages
attended the program.

the students of vocational training courses in participating and conducting the
event. The students presented a wonderful performance. All the volunteers were filled
with joy and happiness to see the display of talent of the community girls who are
pursuing various training programs at the center.

Team Ginger Vadodara-RCR visited Vadodara slum areas and provided information on
proper hygiene, cleanliness and health. They also spoke to kids and families and
briefed on how clean surroundings prevent diseases like dengue and malaria. In the
end, they distributed washed linen to them.

Pollinator protection drive

Volunteers at Tata Chemicals helped remove sprouts of this alien weed and collect
droppings of the Indian Blue Bull (antelope) which aids in the weed spread. The
collected droppings is used to make organic manure for plantation projects for restoration
of indigenous flora.

P School, Matwadi, Songaon. School books were distributed to all the students. An

Tata Metaliks Limited (TML) conducted a general health check-up camp. Two Doctors
along with their medical support team rendered their service for the camp. Weight,
Blood Pressure, Blood sugar, Primary Health screening was followed by General Medicine
distribution. Medicines and towels were provided. Refreshment packets were also
distributed by the volunteers.

Tata Consulting Engineers in association with Tata Memorial Hospital organized a
blood donation camp at Airoli office. A total of 162 volunteers approached the donation
camp and 123 volunteers donated blood. 123 units of blood were collected. Employees
also volunteered to help in organising the activity at the premises. As a token
of appreciation, the donors were given certificates and pens.

TCE employees visited an orphanage managed by the Missionary of Charity to spend
time with the toddlers. The employees found volunteering to be the experience of
a lifetime. Infant foods and other food items were handed over to sisters of the
Missionary. The toddlers had a good time playing with all.

Volunteers organised a health camp focussing on adolescents and women in partnership
with Bhojay Sarvodaya Trust (BST), a health organisation based in Kutch (Gujarat).
Eminent and specialized Doctors from Mumbai came exclusively for the camp and extended
their expert services during the camp along with the volunteers from CGPL. A total
of 267 beneficiaries availed the health service.

With a thought that safety is always an important aspect of life, a Fire Safety
Training and Awareness session for the school children was organized by the volunteers
of Coastal Gujarat Power Limited (Tata Power). The school children were very enthusiastic
to learn all the important and integral safety practices so that in future they
can also act as a Safety Torchbearer for the community.
