A team of 30 volunteers from Ginger hotels Ahmedabad took part in a cleanliness drive.

A team of 34 volunteers visited Blind People’s Association with an objective to spend time with the beneficiaries. They organized snacks for the children.

Volunteers from Indian Hotels Agra planned to visit Tears NGO. They organized a puppet & magic show with the help of the hotel's puppeteer & magician for them. They also danced a lot on dholak played by the puppeteer.
 
  Art & craft session for students Tata Consultancy Services  |  Kolkata
 
TCS Maitree Painting Club SPOCs conducted art & craft classes in Kolkata which were over and above the regular classes held. The painting aids like chart papers, colour boxes were provided to the beneficiaries. The TCS Maitree volunteers taught them basics of drawing and usage of pastel colours.

Tata Technologies, Jamshedpur contributed to the movement of planting trees to reduce air pollution and keep the atmosphere clean. 100 employees participated to plant 150 saplings at Kennel park Telco colony.

Tata Chemicals in collaboration with iVolunteer organized a workshop for Career Planning with the adolescent group of a community. The program was organized in the office of Ashadeep Association (Chakala, Mumbai). During the two and half hour program, the TCL volunteers shared their individual life experiences with the adolescents.
 
  Blood donation drive Ginger Hotels  |  Mumbai
 
Ginger Hotels Mumbai conducted a blood donation drive at their corporate office wherein most of their employees were able to contribute. Beneficiaries of this contribution were the underprivileged children and adults who are Thalassemic positive and require a regular blood transfusion for their entire life. In this initiative, they collaborated with Samarpan Blood Bank by Sarvodaya Hospital.

A Team of 23 volunteers from Tata Power Solar participated in the Teachers’ day celebration at Samarthanam Trust - School for specially abled kids in Bangalore. The volunteer team offered their time and snacks for the programme

A team of 17 volunteers from Tata Power Solar organised a "Joy of Giving " Programme at an old age home- Omashram trust in Bangalore. The team spent time with them and donated food, health & hygiene essentials for the residents.

Volunteers at Lapanga - Odisha conducted a blood donation camp at a project site. A total of 27 employees donated blood for the good cause. 27 units were donated to the Odisha Blood Bank. This will help save 81 lives during a critical medical emergency

Tata Power Solar volunteers visited a Govt. Primary School - Vabasandra Village - Near Electronic city and conducted an awareness session on health & hygiene & personality development. They donated ceiling fans & modern education aids for the betterment of the health & education standards.
 
  Awareness on water-borne disease Tata Sponge Iron  |  Odisha
 
A group of 10 volunteers comprising employees and their family members participated in an awareness session on water-borne diseases in the village of Balita in Joda Block, Keonjhar district of Odisha. The villagers were sensitized on the importance of good health, hygiene and sanitation practices. The ill effects of mosquitoes and checks to prevent the spread of Dengue & other diseases were discussed. The volunteers were joined by local ASHA workers and Anganwadi staff in explaining various schemes and facilities made available by the government. Information leaflets were distributed among all present.

12 volunteers from Tata Technologies visited a school in Prakash Nagar. The team organized a drawing competition for students from class1 to class10 by distributing them into two group. The volunteers motivated the students to concentrate on their studies and reflected on their role in nation building. Chocolates and pastel colours were distributed to the students.

Ginger Hotels Ahmedabad volunteers visited Prathmik School. 33 Team members informed students about basic hygiene & distributed notebooks & stationary to the children.

A safety and fire-fighting session was organized by the Security Department of TCIL for the students of Tinplate Andhra Middle School. The Head (Security Services) along with the other employees from Security dept. of TCIL conducted the session on how to remain safe and secure, both at school and home. The Program was attended by 200 students along with the teachers.

Ginger Bhubaneshwar collaborated with Pratibha Ashram. The volunteers had a great experience in meeting playing, singing & dancing with the children. Post this programme, a lunch was organised by the team.

A team of volunteers from TCIL consisting of employees from various departments visited Chardia Village of Potka Prakhand to visit Ekal Vidyalaya. Employees from TCIL organized various events for the children and villagers such as games, quiz competition and drawing competition.

TCE employees conducted a drive on food hygiene & cleanliness of surroundings amongst street food vendors. The importance of effective cleaning and disinfection of food surfaces for reducing the potential of cross-contamination, good hygiene practices & its implications for consumers was explained to the vendors.

A Green initiative was taken by TCE employees at JUIDCO site, STP-1, Sapra, Adityapur. The volunteers planted 22 trees. The team also requested the people at a site to take care of the planted trees.

Tata Metaliks organized a session on santation in the village Raipara & Jagai in order to sensitize the villagers to use the toilets provided by Tata Metaliks. Tata Metaliks under Swachh Bharat Mission constructed toilet blocks consisting of four toilets in six villages.

Vivanta Surajkund organized a session on road safety in partnership with the Haryana Police. The session was given by a special officer of Haryana Police called "TRAFFIC TAU". Associates actively participated in the activity.

A group of 20 Tata Sponge volunteers organized an awareness program for the contractor labours at the local brick making unit, Jeet Fly Ash. The focus was on the promotion of education & child rights. The attendees were sensitized about the importance of early education and the need to send their children to schools regularly, with an appeal to bring back all school dropouts.

Tata Projects, Hyderabad undertook an initiative to create awareness on the importance of tree plantation. A total of 34 volunteers participated in the program and planted various types of 500 saplings at the Medchal Site.

A team of 15 volunteers from Ginger Hotel Vadodara-RCR organized a cleanliness drive to support "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan". The entire team actively participated in cleaning and removing garbage in and around the hotel area.

Titan Delhi conducted a free eye-check up camp for underprivileged children at Malka Ganj New Delhi. 74 children benefited from this camp.

16 volunteers painted a local school. They painted the school building wall, doors and windows. The volunteers also distributed sweets to the school children.

Indian Hotels Coimbatore visited senior citizens at the St Thomas Home. The associates entertained them by singing Tamil songs.
 
  Cleanliness drive Tata Chemicals  |  Mithapur
 
A beach cleaning program was organised jointly at Okha beach by Tata Chemicals volunteers and family members, Indian Coast Guard officers and family members, Border Security Force and Marine Police personnel, Forest Dept. staff, students from Mithapur and Okha schools. A total of more than 350 volunteers participated. Around two tonnes of trash including plastics, thermocol waste, fishing net pieces etc. was collected.
