Volunteers from Tata BlueScope Steel, Jamshedpur conducted an essay competition on the day of
International Older Persons on topic "My Grandparents” in Navodyay Adiwasi Prathmik Vidyalaya
Samiti, Babudih. The kids wrote about their grandparents. The volunteers shared stories of their
grandparents and listened to the essays' of kids from Std 1 to Std V. 80 students participated
and prizes were given to the winner and runner-up and chocolates for all the students.

Volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers, Mumbai with the help of PEHL organized a health
check-up camp for the villagers in Khoripada of Jawhar Taluka of Palghar District. 190 villagers
were examined by a set of 4 doctors and proper medicines were given to the villagers as per doctor's
prescription. Along with the health camp, a session on menstrual hygiene was conducted for women in
the village.

Dental check-up camp

A dental checkup was organized by the volunteers of TCIL for the students of Tinplate Khalsa Middle School.
An Ex Dental Surgeon from CMC Vellore examined all students. Dental health conditions of 100 students were
captured and children having a severe dental problem were advised to take the preventive measures and
necessary precautions. Volunteers also distributed a dental kit to all the students.
