Tata Volunteering Week-10 was launched by senior leaders wherein they expressed the need to
take up volunteering activities by all employees with the involvement of their family members
to bring about a difference in the surrounding community. An appeal for maximum participation
was made to raise company's volunteering standards higher than previous years. The entire group
consisting of 34 volunteers proceeded to Kaliabeda village, where all participated in a cleanliness
drive at the village temple. Volunteers promoted awareness on cleanliness among visiting villagers.

A group of 10 volunteers visited government run primary schools of Ghanpur, Lingapur and Tekiya
at Ghatkesar Mandal of Medchal district. The team distributed educational kits which consisted of
Books and Bags to the students studying in these schools. Employees from different departments
joined together in this initiative & spent half a daytime with children and organized a few activities
such as story-telling, songs and games. The children enjoyed playing and interacting with the volunteers.

This event covered the Cheshire 3 Peaks (Shutlingsoe, Shining Tor and Tegg's Nose) with 29 TCE volunteers
covering 15 miles which took over 8 hours and included 33000 steps, a 3340 feet ascent and lots of blisters!
£1250 has so far been raised for St Luke's Hospice which is a local charity committed to providing support,
palliative and end of life care to individuals, those close to them and their communities.

JUSCO Real Estate, Legal & CSR department volunteers organized teacher’s day celebration
along with the students at UMS Uttamdih. On this occasion, the students expressed their gratitude
towards their teachers and participated in various cultural activities. Volunteers were amazed by
the performance of the students. They adored the students and distributed sweets to each of them.
On the occasion of teacher’s day, JUSCO CSR provided one Science & Mathematics teacher for upgrading
the education standards at this school.

Employees of TCIL began with their first volunteering activity under the banner of TVW10 by celebrating Teacher's
Day with the Students and Teachers of Tinplate Union Mahila Inter Mahavidyalaya. The students showed up their respect
and gratitude to their teachers through various co-curricular activities. The purpose of celebrating this program
was to motivate these children and add values to their lives by making them understand the importance of teachers
in their career and bright future. Teachers of college were recognized by senior leaders.

12 volunteers visited Sonarkui Primary School located at Sevashi Vadodara. They spent time
with students and also gave them a small introduction about why we celebrate "Teachers Day".
They also briefed the students about food hygiene, cleanliness and personal hygiene. Then
they distributed flowers to all teachers and chocolates to students.

A drive arranged by Tata Chemicals to protect pollinators at Mithapur as part of the TVW-10 program.
Plantation of saplings of trees that support pollinators was organized and volunteers helped remove
sprouts of an alien weed which has been severely affecting the growth of indigenous flora biodiversity
in the region.

Drawing competition was organized for the students of Remedial center at Mundatola Village.
As the students studying here comprises of dropout and weak children so, the activity was
planned with an objective to keep the students motivated and encourage them to attend regular
classes. The CSR team from TCIL was overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm among the students.
Overall it was a great experience for the entire team.

Teacher’s Day, “JUSCO Super 20” [second batch] students celebrated this day by felicitating
and honoring their teachers. “JUSCO Super Twenty” is a CSR initiative by which professional
coaching is being imparted to 20 aspiring students belonging to an underprivileged category
and help them prepare for various engineering entrance exams due in 2020.
