  Visit to a children's home Trent Hypermarket   |  Pune
 
The employees of Trent Hypermarket, Pune visited Nachiket Balgram NGO on the occasion of International Charity Day to interact with children and spend quality time with them. They also distributed snacks to all the children.
 
  Tree plantation Tata Motors   |   Sanand
 
14 Employees of Sanand plant took sessions on basic safety, health & hygiene and co-curricular activities for the school students of Shyawara Primary School. A special awareness session on green environment was also organized by the team, followed by a plantation drive. The program saw enthusiastic participation from all students and teachers.
 
  Celebrating International charity day Tata Metaliks   |   Kharagpur
 
On the occasion of International charity day. Employees of Tata Metaliks visited Nirmal Hirdalya, Missionaries of Charity at Kharagpur, West Bengal to meet 57 women residents. The inmates welcomed them with welcome song and prayer. The volunteers spent time interacting with the residents and distributed clothing and grocery items for their use.
 
  Plantation Drive Ginger Hotels   |   Vapi
 
15 employees of Ginger Hotels, Vapi participated in a plantation drive with children. 20 Saplings were given to the kids with a promise to take care of them and help the plants grow.
 
  Celebrating Read a Book day Tata Power Delhi Distribution   |   Delhi
 
Volunteers of Tata Power-DDL (IT group) organized an activity at the vocational training center at Shakurpur, Delhi to celebrate the 'Read a Book' day with the students. Volunteers distributed booklets on Ethics & Moral values and stationary materials. Volunteers also conducted an awareness session on implementation of moral values in their daily life. Students participated in the activities with great enthusiasm and shared their queries with the volunteers.
 
  Lunch at Asha Daan Indian Hotels   |   Mumbai
 
Asha Daan houses children with special needs, the older generation and cancer patients. Volunteers from The Taj Mahal Palace took in-house cooked food for all residents of the centre and served them meals. The centre has 350+ residents and the volunteers were warmly welcomed by them.
 
  Career counselling sessions Tata Power Delhi Distribution   |   Delhi
 
Volunteers of Tata Power-DDL organized a career counselling session in association with admissions campus (NGO Partner) at Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya, Badli and Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Badli, Delhi for the students of 10th & 12th Class. The sessions were interactive wherein students asked their queries regarding higher studies and pursuing a career. Along with this, the volunteers also organized an awareness session on importance of online & paper less bill payment and the vision of digital India for students.
 
  Celebration of Literacy Day Tata Power Delhi Distribution   |   Delhi
 
Volunteers of Tata Power-DDL have organized activities to celebrate the International Literacy Day in association with Virmani Trust, Aradhya & Prayas (NGO Partners) at various locations of North and North West Delhi. The activities were undertaken to reach the last member of the community. Volunteers organised an essay writing activity and awareness generation rally on the theme of importance of literacy among the community.
 
  Tree Plantation Tata Projects   |   Etawah
 
28 volunteers enthusiastically participated in the program and planted various types of 290 saplings at Etawah detour of Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. Volunteers were instructed to regularly visit the site to track the growth of the plants. They were also motivated to encourage the children to involve themselves in planting and to plant more trees in homes and as well as in waste lands.
 
  Teacher's day celebration Tata Steel Long Products   |   Joda
 
30 volunteers from Vidya Shakti Niyas, women's social service wing of Tata Steel Long Products Limited gathered at the Shishu Prem Nursery School to organise the teacher's day celebration program. The school provides elementary education for children of the neighbouring community. Young students made a colorful presentation in honor of their teachers and saw their parents too enthusiastically participating in the program.
 
  Awareness programme on water conservation Tata Steel Long Products   |   Joda
 
A dedicated team of 5 volunteers from Tata Steel Long Products Limited visited the Putugaon village in Anseikala Gram Panchayat to conduct an awareness program on water conservation. Importance of water as an invaluable resource, value of water conservation and sensible use in bathing, cleaning etc. was discussed. The program was highly appreciated by the village community.
 
  Post-operative eye camp Tata Steel Long Products   |   Joda
 
A group of 40 volunteers including company employees and their family members helped organize a post-operative eye testing camp at Tata Steel Long Products' dispensary. The patients had recently undergone free eye operation at Jamshedpur. Along with a team of doctors, the camp focussed on post-surgery condition and vision improvements of the patients.

The drive initiated at Mithapur for development of dry deciduous forest patch is continuing with much rigor. Employee volunteers, family members and retired employees took-up the work for fixing wooden sticks which will provide support to saplings planted. Work on removing the alien weed sprouts was also initiated during this activity.
 
  Teacher’s day celebration JUSCO   |   Jamshedpur
 
On the occasion of Teacher's day, JUSCO volunteers organised teacher's day celebration across 6 schools in Gamaharia and Adityapur in Jamshedpur as well as with the JUSCO Super 20 batch of students who are receiving coaching through this program. The celebrations saw the students express their gratitude towards their teachers and participate in various cultural activities. JUSCO volunteers also distributed sweets to all the students.
 
  Painting competition Ginger Hotels   |   Bhubaneshwar
 
Ginger Hotels, Bhubaneshwar conducted a drawing competition for the kids from Hatiasuni Anganwadi Kendra School. For this competition, individual sheets were provided to the children with interesting outlines of trees, fruits, flowers, angels, humans and crayons were provided to the children. They could choose whichever colour they associated with the outline and then complete their drawing. 10 volunteers participated in the activity and distributed healthy snacks to the children post the activity.
 
  Workshop on gender equality Tata Power Delhi Distribution   |   Delhi
 
Volunteers of Tata Power-DDL have organized a workshop cum awareness sessions on gender roles in association with Aradhya (NGO partner) for the students of the Vocational training centre, Sarai Rohilla, Delhi. The focus of the workshop was on the roles of male and females in the society. The activities were conducted to generate awareness among the students on gender equality, wherein both male and female students participated and discussed their thoughts on gender roles before and after the activities.
 
  Cleanliness drive Ginger Hotels   |   Chennai
 
A clean environment is a happy environment was the motto of the 23 team members of Ginger Hotel, Vadapalani who volunteered in cleaning the Besant nagar beach in Chennai.
 
  Conducting a drawing competition Taj Lake Palace   |   Udaipur
 
Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur arranged a visit and interactive session at the Mook Badhir Sr. Secondary school for dead and dumb children in Udaipur. A group of 11 volunteers organized a drawing competition for the students. The main objective of this activity was to ignite the creative side of their minds and help develop their fine motor skills. The team distributed drawing kits to children studying in primary classes where the children drew on the topic of environment.
