  Teaching aids for kids Tata Consulting Engineers   |   Pune
 
Over 100 volunteers participated in preparing teaching aids for kids of DoorStep school. The teachers supervised and guided volunteers about the importance of these teaching aids. Volunteers also prepared templates for kids to color, these sketches will be printed, and multiple coloring booklets will be made for the kids.
 
  Visit to flood affected villages Rallis India   |   Sangli
 
A team of 5 volunteers with family members visited Borgaon, Musachi wadi, Dudhondi & Palus villages in Sangli district. Volunteers met the villagers and discussed the situation around the village and assured to provide the support they needed in view of their livelihood.
 
  Preparing snacks for kids Tata Technologies   |   Pune
 
Tata Technologies volunteers prepared 200+ sandwiches for the nearby slum area kids. Tata Sons Innovista head Mr. Joshipura visited Tata Technologies and joined in the activity with the project team members. Sandwiches were distributed to the kids immediately after preparation.
 
  Blood donation drive Tata Technologies   |   Pune
 
Tata Technologies’s second blood donation drive was organized on the occasion of TVW12 to support thalassemic children of Pune. Every year Tata Technologies employees donate blood units and support 350 Thalassemic children of the city through a registered blood bank.
 
  Celebrating read a book day Tata Steel Long Products   |   Joda
 
A group of 21 volunteers collaborated to observe 'Read a Book Day' at the Shishu Prem Nursery School, Bileipada. The school provides elementary education to small children from the company township and nearby villages. Volunteers, teachers & students read out moral stories in various classrooms, discussing the importance of values in our life.
 
  Course orientation workshop The Tinplate Company of India   |   Jamshedpur
 
The Team from TCIL, CSR Dept. organized a 1-day workshop to orient the girls from remote villages of Singhbhum (East & West Districts) of Jharkhand to prepare them for Community Health Provider Training at the Tinplate Hospital. This training enables them to get engaged in different health care centers. This was a 1-day residential program with free boarding & lodging, conducted by faculties from different fields. Mr. Prabhat Das Sr. Manager (CSR) , and Reshma Desouza Faculty from Nursing School interacted with girls and encouraged them to complete this program for a better future. Volunteers put up their best to get maximum participation of girls from the villages.
 
  Teacher's day celebration The Tinplate Company of India   |   Jamshedpur
 
Employees of TCIL celebrated teacher's day with the students and teachers of Tinplate Union Mahila Inter Mahavidyalaya. The students showed up their respect and gratitude to their teachers through various co-curricular activities. The purpose of celebrating this program was to motivate these children and add value to their lives by making them understand the importance of teachers in their life.
 
  Safety training session The Tinplate Company of India   |   Jamshedpur
 
A safety and fire-fighting session was organized by the security department of TCIL for the students of Vidya Jyoti Tinplate High School. Dr. J.P. Singh, Head (Security Services) along with the other employees from security dept. of TCIL conducted the session on how to remain safe and secure, both at school and home. The program was attended by 70 students along with the teachers. The program was followed by the demonstration on the types and uses of fire extinguishers. Students also became aware about the precautions which need to be taken in case of emergency.
 
  Street play on road safety Tata Steel Long Products   |   Joda
 
A group of 41 volunteers including company employees, ladies & children assembled at Birikala Road, Bileipada to organize a road safety awareness program. Talented children enacted a lively street play, garnering the attention of passers-by, emphasizing the importance of road safety.
 
  Enterprise entrepreneurship awareness Tata Steel Long Products   |   Keonjhar
 
A group of 10 volunteers from Tata Steel Long Products Limited conducted an awareness session on enterprise development and entrepreneurship in the village of Ramachandrapur. Dr L Aich, Nodal Officer, Agricultural Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Ltd (APICOL), Govt of Odisha, conducted the session. Various govt schemes like Mukhyamantri Koushi Udyog Yojna & Under State Agriculture Police 2013 were discussed in detail. The eligibility, process & benefits of subsidiaries provided to farmers were also discussed.
 
  Tree plantation Tata Metaliks   |   Kharagpur
 
This indiscriminate felling of trees, needs to be undertaken on a large scale to reverse the ill effects of deforestation and restore the ecological balance. Tata Metalks runs tree plantation campaigns across its projects on a annual basis. The Forestry plants were distributed and planted in Mahespur, Mudipara & Raipara village. 10 plants were given to 45 villagers.
 
  Visit to a primary school Tata Steel   |   Jamshedpur
 
Procurement team from Tata Steel paid a visit to the primary school in Ladaidungari. They distributed umbrellas, school stationeries and morning snack to the kids. They also provided the school kitchen with essential utensils for preparing mid-day meals.
 
  Volunteering at Sabal awards Tata Steel Long Products   |   Jamshedpur
 
Employees from Tata Steel volunteered at the Sabal Awards 2019 at the Michael John Auditorium. They helped persons with disability during the event for their basic needs. They also helped in managing the stalls at the event.

To mark Teacher’s Day, 35 saplings were planted by the Land & Market Department of Tata Steel, along with the school teachers at a farm area in Jamshedpur.
 
  Skill development program Ginger Hotels   |   Nashik
 
Skill Development program was undertaken at Ginger Hotel for 17 students. Volunteers provided them basic knowledge about how the team at the hotel coordinates with each other on day to day basis to make guest comfortable and happy during their stay. They also briefed the students why grooming and posture/body language is important in hospitality.
