and Jhamapukur Sri Sri Ramakrishna Sangha. The event was planned for the whole day and was held in
the ground near Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, Kolkata. MD, Mr. Abraham G Stephanos and, VP, Operations & sales,
Mr Om Prakash inaugurated the event with their inspiring address to all the children. Various sports events
were organised for the children. At last, the day long program concluded with serving sumptuous lunch
to all the children.

carried out by children at the old age home.

water for their daily needs. This includes farmers who have to feed a population that is 1 billion
strong. 175 volunteers from Tata Communications Pune office partaken with Pani Panchayat, a voluntary
group of farmers engaged in the collective management of surface water and groundwater. During the
event volunteers took part in organic farming, building of check dams, plantation activities and
interact with the local community to understand their way of living.

Tata Power has been dedicatedly working towards the ecological development and conservation of
natural resources in and around Tata Power's hydro plant at Walwhan dam in Lonavala. Their mahseer
fish conservation programme has offered a lifeline to the endangered species and has substantially
increased their numbers. 55 volunteers from Tata Communications Pune office engaged in tree plantation,
worked in the hatchery and also attended an awareness session on conservation and biodiversity.

an iconic site of Pune. Volunteers helped in the ecological restoration of the pond by removing
a tonne of waste which included plastics (50 kgs), weeds, pistia (water lettuce) and other garbage
thrown in the pond. They also helped in creating habitats/landing spots for birds, turtles and fishes.
