  Making masks Tata Communications   
 
Mask has become synonymous with COVID-19. It is our first defence against the pandemic and is considered as an essential item. There is a rising demand for masks and there is also a shortage in some cases. To ensure volunteers and their family have this essential item available, this volunteering workshop was organised to help volunteers make their own mark. Volunteers were requested to donate the created mask to people who would need it. 72 individuals benefited from this activity.
 
  Translating training videos Tata Communications   
 
Tata Communications Volunteers who are fluent in Kannada participated to translate subtitles of training videos from Kannada to English. This exercise helped 72 children from vernacular medium to get equal and easy access to quality education and knowledge which otherwise could have not been possible due to language constraint. As part of our collaborative efforts, Tata Communications also had participation from AirAsia India and Tata Starbucks. Volunteers will continue this activity to translate for one more week and help the needy.
 
  Personal hygiene awareness Tata Communications   
 
Paying attention to personal hygiene can prevent illnesses, especially in the time of COVID-19. While a lot of information is floating about maintaining health and hygiene, there are still people who are unaware about such information. Volunteers from Tata Communications in partnership with Idea Foundation spoke to 23 women beneficiaries on maintaining hygiene related to COVID-19. The information helped the women to take better care of themselves and their family members.
 
  Teachers’ day celebration Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) Bengaluru volunteers celebrated Teachers’ day with the teachers of Government School Yeshwantpur and Asha School for Differently Abled. The volunteers organised a stress buster activity session where in the teachers as well as the volunteers meditated for few minutes and later danced on the fun beats. Volunteers also conducted a quiz which was cracked immediately by the teachers. In this two-way interaction the teachers also mentioned about the qualities of their colleagues through a board game designed by TCE Volunteers and proved that they not only know their students but also their colleagues very well.
 
  Enterprise development for migrants Tata Steel Long Products   
 
Tata Steel Long Products is encouraging migrants for their sustainable livelihood through Enterprise Development. One such initiative was taken up for establishing a grocery micro enterprise for Suryabhusan Jaiswal of Jamalpur village under Dugdha panchayat of Gamharia block.
 
  Slogan writing competition Tata Power Delhi Distribution   
 
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Tata Power Delhi Distribution along with NGO Partners organized a slogan writing competition for beneficiaries of Women Literacy Centers (WLCs). 11,004 beneficiaries actively participated and came up with creative slogans.
 
  Awareness session on CSR Tata Power Delhi Distribution   
 
An online awareness session on CSR initiatives was organized by the volunteers of Tata Power Delhi Distribution, Customer Services department. The session sensitized approximately 40 people.
 
  Motivation session for students Tata Power Delhi Distribution   
 
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, an online virtual session was organized by Tata Power Delhi Distribution volunteers with the students (class IX ) of Government school in Jama Majid, Delhi. The session focused on the importance of teachers and the significance of the Teachers’ day. In addition, the volunteer gave tips to the students on how to remain motivated in present times by practicing Yoga, Meditation, precautionary measures, etc.
 
  Drawing competition for children Rallis India   
 
Volunteers from Rallis India, Lote Unit organized an Online Drawing Competition on ‘Precautions to be taken during COVID-19 Pandemic” for the students of Nutan Vidyalaya, Z P School Lotemal and S K Vidyalaya, Gunde on 9th September, 2020. 42 students were present in the online drawing completion and 14 students enthusiastically participated in the competition.
 
  Drawing competition for children Rallis India   
 
Rallis India, Lote Unit organized an Online Drawing Competition on ‘Clean Environment’ for the students of Nutan Vidyalaya, Lote on 7th September, 2020. 31 students were present in the online drawing completion and 15 students enthusiastically participated. Participants drew beautiful drawings with impactful messages.
 
  Making educational videos workshop Voltas   
 
Volunteers from Voltas organised a workshop on making educational videos. The activity helped to impart training and skills to the educational tutors to create learning videos for the children. Due to pandemic, the tutors are looking for effective mediums to teach and educate the children. The workshop facilitated them to learn different techniques to connect with children via online platforms. 11 tutors attended the workshop and are now using the techniques to impart knowledge among the students.
 
  Workshop on MS Excel Voltas   
 
Volunteers from Voltas organised an educational workshop on MS Excel for the group of NGO coordinators and tutors to improve their proficiency in the using the skills on spreadsheet. More than 35 individuals benefitted from the workshop.
