  Recognizing the Support & Frontline Staff Tata Power (TPREL)   
 
To recognise and appreciate the contribution of support staff and frontline workers towards providing security, protecting and feeding us, as a token of gratitude, the Tata Power volunteers provided them with cotton bands. This initiative included Army Personnel, both on-duty and retired, within the vicinity of Tata Power. More than 85 employees, O&M partners, SHGs have been engaged through this initiative.
 
  Online Crop Insurance using E-Pik Pahani App Tata Power (TPREL)   
 
Teams from Tata Power volunteered to register and upload crop data of more than 890 farmers in the E-Pik Pahani App, an initiative by Maharashtra Government, to streamline the crop insurance. The Crop insurance provided by the Government shall be based on the online submission of details filled in this app by the farmers, avoiding a lot of false data. Over 160 volunteers came together to organise farm site visits and meeting to explain the usage of app and raise awareness among rural farmers from Khandke-Supa, Agaswadi and surrounding villages.
 
  Participation in Bail Pola Festival, Ahmednagar Tata Power (TPREL)   
 
A Team of volunteers from Tata Power participated in the Bail Pola Festival at Ahmednagar Site. The festival is a carnival for farmers as they express their deepest gratitude to the Bulls who plough their fields so that the farmers can sow seeds and earn a living. Tata Power volunteers tied ‘REALIZE’ Bands to the Bulls and the farmers to acknowledge their contribution in Indian Agricultural Revolution.
 
  Creating Paper Bags Tata Realty and Infrastructures Limited   
 
Tata Realty Employees came together to learn the art of paper bag making. The bags were created using daily newspapers that are strong enough to hold daily essentials, fruits, vegetables and many other items. Each volunteer made a minimum of 10 bags that were later donated to local vendors to help create a difference.
 
  Recording Audio Books Tata Realty and Infrastructures Limited   
 
Tata Realty and Infrastructures Limited teams volunteered to record e-books and audio books for the visually impaired children. The aim was to create impactful and accessible learning material that can be easily used by the children.
 
    Cleanliness Drive Tata Steel   
 
Employees of Tata Steel volunteered to run a cleanliness drive in their localities. They collected litter spread around the road during their morning walk sessions and disposed-off the garbage in a proper way. The event was conducted in association with an NGO, People for Change
 
  Pride Parade Tata Steel   
 
A group of employees along with Uthaan NGO and Jamshedpur Pride Group organised a PRIDE Parade to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of abolishment of Section 377. The theme of the parade was ‘Vaccination for the LGBT Community’ in Jamshedpur.
 
    Mega Vaccination Drive Tata Steel   
 
30 employees volunteered their services to manage the mega Covid-19 vaccination drive in the city of Jamshedpur under the aegis of District Administration. More than 5000 individuals were vaccinated. This activity was organised in association with an NGO, Urban Services.
 
  Session on Importance of Sports Tata Steel   
 
Volunteers from Tata Steel took a session at the SOS Children’s Village, Raipur – a non-profit and Global Child institution. The session focused on importance of setting goals and the discipline required to achieve them. The event was organized in association with an NGO, Urban Services.
 
  Eco Friendly Idol Making Workshop Tata Technologies Ltd   
 
Teams from Tata Technologies Ltd organised an ‘Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making Workshop’ for children from the local communities. This activity was focused to create awareness on water pollution during Ganpati festival. Ganesh idols were made with kitchen material such as turmeric powder, flour etc. The workshop was conducted with all safety precautions and proper local authority approvals.
 
  Distribution of Sanitary Napkins at a Rehabilitation Centre Tata Technologies Ltd   
 
Tata Technologies Pune volunteers visited a rehabilitation center for schizophrenia patients and distributed sanitary napkins and medical kits. Volunteers also celebrated Rakshabandhan with them. All safety precautions were taken by volunteers during the program.
 
  Grocery Kits Donation to vulnerable families Tata Technologies Ltd   
 
Volunteers from Tata Technologies Ltd donated grocery kits to farmers and their families from a local village, Marunji. Over 40 families were reached under strict safety protocols.
 
    Blood Donation Drive Tata Technologies Ltd   
 
Tata Technologies Ltd volunteers planned a Blood Donation Drive at a community center with family and friends. This initiative was organized and executed under Covid-19 guidelines with an objective to support Thalassemia patients of the city.
 
  Tree Plantation Drive Tata Technologies Ltd   
 
A tree plantation drive was organised by the volunteers from Tata Technologies Ltd who visited a local community center to create environmental awareness. Around 20 saplings were planted by community members and the volunteers in a surrounding area.
 
   Awareness program for Young Girls The Tinplate Company of India Limited   
 
Women volunteers from TCIL organized an awareness program for the girls studying at Tinplate Union Mahila Inter Mahavidyalaya. Volunteers explained the importance of education for a girl child and how to explore career opportunities in life.
 
  Drawing Competition for Students of a Remedial Centre The Tinplate Company of India Limited   
 
To explore the creative potential of young minds, volunteers from TCIL organized a drawing competition for the children of Remedial Centres at Hurlung village. The children showcased their creative skills through drawing and use of colours.
 
  Visit to Mission of Charity ‘Nirmal Hridayalaya’ The Tinplate Company of India Limited   
 
A team of volunteers from TCIL visited Nirmal Hridayalaya a home for the elderly and orphans. Volunteers distributed groceries and food items and spent quality time with the residents.
 
   Activities with Children The Tinplate Company of India Limited   
 
Volunteers from TCIL organized a fun and leisure activities for the children of Hurlung Village to spend some quality time and motivate these children to show their talents. Activities included dance, singing, recitation and oration by the children.
 
  Tree Plantation Drive TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Volunteers from Nayagarh Division office TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited, conducted a plantation drive where over 30 employees planted 40 saplings across an identified location. Volunteers pledged to keep their surrounding clean and green. These volunteers will also take care of the saplings planted till it grows into tree.
 
  Road and Electrical Safety Session TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Volunteers from Angul Division office TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited, organized a theme-based session on Road and Electrical Safety for women from self-help groups. These women travel extensively for their livelihoods; hence the session will help them travel safe and prevent accidents.
 
  Literacy Day Celebration TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Making the World Literacy Day, volunteers from TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited held sessions to sensitized communities on the importance of education.
 
   Digital Literacy Promotion TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
The TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited team from Angul division promoted information on digital literacy among community members. They also sensitized youth and children on usage of digital equipment by giving them a detailed training as well.
 
  Session on Conservation of Energy TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
A group of volunteers from TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited conducted a session on ‘Energy Conservation’ in Vivekanand School, Angul. The session focused on the impact created by us on the planet and how energy conservation can save the planet.
 
  Capacity Building Session for Women TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Volunteers from the Paradeep Division of TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited conducted a Capacity building session for women from a Self-Help Groups. Over 100 women were trained on various aspects of personality development, financial literacy and more.
 
  Conservation of Energy TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Employees from Angul division conducted Sessions on Energy Conservation with the communities around their office. Volunteers sensitized on importance of saving energy and ways to do it. The emphasis was on the awareness of concepts of sustainability.
 
  World Environment Day Celebration TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
On World Environment Day, volunteers from TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited along with women and self-help groups created awareness in the community on the importance of clean and hygienic environment and further took oath to keep the surrounding clean.
 
  Safety Session TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited   
 
Sessions on safety was conducted by the employees from TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited at different locations in Nayagarh. The volunteers invited community members to the office and sensitized them Safety, Ethics & Tata Values.
 
    Job Interview Preparedness Indian Hotels Company Limited   
 
The Taj Santacruz, Mumbai team conducted a virtual session on job interview preparedness for 50 youth from Tata Strive across India in the domain of Business Development, Technicians, Auto Sales, General Duty assistance etc. The session explained details regarding resume development, communication skills and Dos & Donts during an interview. The attendees engaged in an enriching Q&A session with the trainer who resolved all their doubts.
 
  Skill Training in Bakery and Patisserie for tribal women Indian Hotels Company Limited   
 
A two-day skill training program in Bakery and Patisserie was conducted by the Taj Santacruz, Mumbai team for women from rural areas associated with Navijvan Social Enterprise Foundation to build sustainable livelihoods. The session covered training in making cakes and cookies and later allowed them to practice the same.
 
  Interactive learning session for children Tata Asset Management Ltd   
 
Volunteers from Tata Asset Management Ltd organised a virtual learning session for children from government schools. Subjects such as maths, science, art & craft were covered through interactive and interesting methods helping students to comprehend better.
 
  Honouring Teachers on a Special Day Tata AutoComp Systems   
 
The Tata AutoComp System teams celebrated teachers’ day with students from HoPE (Holistic & Progressive Education) program, the company’s CSR initiative. The teachers were felicitated at the event where students put up an enthralling cultural program.
 
  Sapling Donation Drive Tata Chemicals, Mithapur   
 
Volunteers from Tata Chemical team Mithapur donated saplings to increase vegetation in the surrounding areas. These saplings will be planted in the schools of Okhamandal block. Over 30 volunteers donated approximately 150 plants to the TCSRD office.
 
  Terrace Garden Maintenance Tata Chemicals, Mithapur   
 
To enhance the flora of the surrounding region, Tata Chemicals Mithapur team conducted a session on Terrace Garden Maintenance. Volunteers from TCSRD, CSR/CD department participated in the activity.
 
  Emergency Rescue Operation Training Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Teams from Tata Consulting Engineers, Cochin Site volunteered to conduct a training on ‘Emergency rescue operation’ for construction site workers, supervisors, and security guards. Electric shock and fire-fighting training was also imparted during the session.
 
    Health and nutrition session for the elderly Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers Team Bengaluru organised a session on ‘Health & Nutrition’ for the elderly living in Ashraya Seva Trust - Old Age Home. The session highlighted the importance of a healthy lifestyle for senior citizens. Over 40 elderly benefitted from the session. Additionally, the team had lunch with them and later handed towels and toiletries to the residents.
 
  Simple Science Experiments Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Together with the NGO partner, Development Association for Integrated Activity, volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers, Tamil Nadu organised a session on simple science experiments for students between 8-14 years. The Activity was conducted to create curiosity among young children about simple concepts in science by conducting fun science experiments with the available household items.
 
    Cyber Crime Awareness and Career Opportunities Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Volunteers from Tata Consulting Engineers Bengaluru teams conducted an awareness session on ‘Prevention of Cyber-crime’. Cyber-crime and privacy breach in India have been growing exponentially due to lack of user awareness about internet exposure, cyber laws and risks. The session was held in a Government College Mandikal, where students were also introduced to career options related to the field of Cyber-crime.
 
  Fun and Learning for Children Tata Investment Corporation Ltd.   
 
Tata Investment Corporation Ltd team along with the young chefs and their parents from Together Foundation participated in an online event for making sweets for Ganesh festival sweets followed by a full-filled session with games.
 
    Nutrition and Health awareness for Women Self-help Group Tata Metaliks Ltd.   
 
Under the National Nutrition Mission, employees from Tata Metaliks Ltd conducted a session on ‘Importance of Healthy Eating’ for a group of women from the Adult Literacy Centre in Khalkona village. In an interactive session where the volunteers explained the concept of nutrition and healthy eating followed by concept of a balanced diet through the flag or rainbow method where meal should comprise of different colours. They urged the women to eat in proportion to enhance better assimilation of nutrients.
 
  Session with nursing candidates & football trainees Tata Metaliks Ltd.  
 
Volunteers from the Tata Metaliks team interacted with the nursing candidates who will soon be enrolled in a three-year GNM course. Senior management had a one-to-one session with the girls, motivating them to put their heart and soul in the career they have decided to pursue. Young football trainees who also aspire to become nurses also attended the session, which can help them to decide their careers. Football kits were also distributed to the girls.
 
  Packaged Waste Wood and Scrap Distribution at Charity Homes Tata Metaliks Ltd.   
 
Volunteers from Tata Metaliks Ltd supported charity homes with packaged waste wood and scarp materials. TML employees identified, segregated the scrap and waste packaged wood from Tata Metaliks factory premise and facilitated in the loading and unloading process along with acquiring necessary permissions. These woods would otherwise be auctioned off. This will help the homes meet their day-to-day fuel needs and for other purposes for the residents.
