  cleanliness drive and tree plantation drive Hyper Trent   
 
Employees of Star Bazaar, Kolhapur organized a footpath cleanliness drive and tree plantation drive. This drive was organized with the objective to keep the city clean and green.
 
  Basic Accounting Session for Specially Abled Students from DEEDS Indian Hotels   
 
On 29th September, 2021, Taj Santacruz, Mumbai conducted a virtual session for Specially Abled-Deaf Students of DEEDS Public Charitable Trust. The Session was conducted by our Finance Manager Mr. Vinay Pawar for 60 students who were online between 3pm to 4 pm. There was a translator online from DEEDS who assisted Vinay in conveying the learnings. The Students from 12th Std and Second year BCom background. Vinay covered Basic topics of accounting and clarified their doubts on the same through an active Q&A session. Students found the session very informative. 
 
  A Session On Guest Focus Indian Hotel   
 
On 01st October, 2021 Mr. Ritesh Sharma, General Manager of Taj Santacruz hotel conducted an exclusive session with the Managerial Cadre of the Kotak sharing with them our expertise of Guest Engagement and Guest focus in hotel. The session lasted for 1 hour 30 minutes which included an active Q&A session with the Managers at Kotak. Mr. Sharma oriented closed to 600 participants across India on Guest Focus of Hotelier, steps involved in Guest Engagement, understanding on Guest Segmentation and Feedback management. The Leadership team and participants on the Virtual call were filled with gratitude after receiving the learning from a Hotelier. Value of Responsibility and Joy were demonstrated through this Session
 
  Beach Cleaning Along With IHCL Mumbai Hotels Indian Hotel   
 
On 20th September, 2021, Taj Santacruz, Mumbai participates in the Beach Cleaning activity with IHCL Mumbai hotels at Girgaum Chowpatty after the Ganesh Visarjan. The activity was conducted in partnership with BMC. Close to 25 volunteers across all hotels participated in the Cleaning Drive from Taj Willington Mews, President hotel, Taj Mahal Palace, Taj Mahal Tower and Taj Santacruz, Mumbai.Value of Unity, Reponsibility and Joy was demonstrated
 
    a virtual session on Marine Life of Okhamandal Tata Chemicals, Mithapur   
 
On 3rd Oct of 2021, TVW-16 volunteering program, TCSRD, CSR/CD department of the Tata Chemicals Organized a virtual session on Marine Life of Okhamandal. In this activity, 6 volunteers of employees' family members attended the session and interacted as knowledge sharing
 
    Digital Payment Awareness at MVML Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Awareness drive conducted for the labours of MVML Chakan site and TCE Site team spread awareness regarding digitalization and the benefits of digitalization. Session conducted with all frontline site team regarding downloading/updating software from playstore and also share the information regarding UPI Payment and payment gateways and also shared information related to online booking from mobile phones. 
 
  Cleanliness Drive in existing Hospital Campus Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
Cleanliness drive was carried out by the TCE site staffs of BAVP Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sivasagar Assam along with SPCPL surrounding of Model Hospital, Parking area except of Covid care centre The TEAM cleaned the adjoining areas of the Hospital for 1 hour. Approx. 4kgs of waste was collected in the garbage bags and deposited in the municipal collection bin.
 
  Tree plantation drive, land cleaning & removal of bushes. Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
During construction we convert many of green fields into brown fields. We TCE team treated it as our responsibility to protect the environment as well. So, our team’s motive is to convert the unused ground to green field by planting as many trees as we can at site. In line with this, we have conducted tree plantation drive at IIT Hyderabad Project Phase -2. We contributed for development of open land to make the area more beautiful with greenery. We cleaned land, removed bushes, and planted trees at site location (TCE site office). During this event total of 65 saplings have been planted.
 
  Class rooms and Boards Painting Tata Consulting Engineers   
 
TCE staff along with experienced workers) painted 5 class room ceilings, walls and 9 Black boards as part of welcoming the children after the pandemic break at ZP Primary schools, Bhoirwadi-Hinjewadi-Pune.
 
    Best Out of Waste Activity with children Tata Consulting Engineers  
 
The Activity was conducted to educate the children about waste management, explaining about reduce, Reuse & recycle. Children were taught to make pen stand, Diya and flower vase out of waste plastic bottles and unused carton boards. Children actively participated in the activity and made beautiful articles out of waste material.
 
   cleaning the surrounding areas of the factory Tata Metaliks   
 
Employees, project staff, security and administration departments participated in a ‘Shramdaan’ activity, cleaning the surrounding areas of the factory, and awareness generation among the shopkeepers adjacent to the plant. The leadership took to the streets cleaning the area and distributing pamphlets on health & hygiene. The employees cleaned the street and accumulated the garbage in one corner & encouraged the shop owners to do the same. 120 employees participated for two hours.
 
  rural tribal food festival Tata Metaliks   
 
A rural tribal food festival was held on 4th October, 2021 with the community at Roypara community hall. Various traditional delicacies were prepared by the villagers, especially tribal food which were unique in taste and preparations. Farmers form nearby villages also participated in the food festival selling their fresh produce. The employees participated and interacted with the villagers, encouraged and guided them to market the produce. It was a unique experience for everyone to taste the different local, seasonal and traditional food
 
  football match with community Tata Metaliks   
 
Employees and a friendly football match was organized between the employees of Tata Metaliks and the trainees of Under 12 football team. At Gumariapal Ground in Gumariapal village, Kalaikunda Panchayat. The trainees are trained by TML under their Football coaching project. A total of 60 boys and girls participated in the match. It was an exciting match where all the teams were very enthusiastic about their participation. Senior management team flagged of the event, along with the panchayat pradhan and encouraged the teams. It was a fun afternoon where the employees and community had a good time. 50 employees participated from 2:00pm - 5:00pm.
 
    Tree Plantation Drive Tata Power
 
A group of Tata Power employees, Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) students, village leaders were planted more than 100 ficus trees of various varieties as per the geographical needs of the sites. These drives attended by the village youth and farmers.

Supa wind farm site employees and youth volunteered to study the biodiversity prevailed at the site with following of the mapping methods to study the biodiversity.

A group of employees from the Tata Power wind farm site of the Rojmal volunteered by planting the native trees. More than 40 trees planted by the volunteers.

A senior leader from the Tata Power were engaged in volunteering by planting the trees at Lahori Wind Farm Site, Madhya Pradesh. These trees were planted near the office campus which will be taken care by the site team in course of the nurturing of the trees.
 
   Old Age Home Visit Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, Tata projects -Heritage Projects Site team visited “Tau Devi Lal Old age Home Center, Gurugram”, Haryana and spent a hour time with the residents and distributed ration and hygienic/healthcare kits to old age destitute.
 
  Blood Donation Camp Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, blood donation camp was organized on 29th September 2021, at DLF-Midtown One Project – New Delhi with the support of Rotary Blood Bank, New Delhi.

Total 27 units of blood was donated by the volunteers. All the volunteers were awarded certificates and donors cards by the Rotary Blood Bank, New Delhi.
 
  Blood Donation Camp Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, blood donation camp was organized on 29th and 30th September 2021, at TPL corporate office one Boulevard,Mumbai,114 employees volunteered and 73 units of blood was collected for treatment of Thalassemia patients. The activity was conduced in association with Tata Memorial Hospital.

Jubilant and Brookfield employees also participated in the activity.
 
    Visit to Cheshire Orphanage Tata Projects
 
Tata projects Jojobera site team visited “CHESHIRE HOME Orphanage” Jamshedpur, Jharkhand and spent quality time with the inmates and distributed one month ration and groceries. Currently 80 mentally and physically challenged persons are residing in the orphanage.
 
  Tree Plantation Tata Projects
 
On 29 sept ,as a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, Tata projects – “BHIND WATER SUPPLY” site team visited “Sarswati Shishu Mandir School, Bhind and conducted Tree plantation activity involving the children.

   Visit to Girl's Shelter Home Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, a visit was organised to “Girl Children’s Shelter Home” on 01.10.2021, run by Navajeevan Trust, Habsiguda (Hyderabad). 9 Tata Projects volunteers participated. There are 21 girl children who are semi-orphans, studying from 3rd to 11th standard. Our volunteers participated in:
  • Listening to the various conditions which brought the children to the shelter home.
  • Motivating the children to continue education and provided information on career guidance.
  • Involved the children in dance, singing, self briefing and events like musical chair.
  • Distributed some note books, pens and fruits supported by TPL to the children. In addition, the volunteers also brought chocolates, pastries, fruits etc for the children.
 
  Cleanliness Drive Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, Cleanliness drive was organized by Tata projects team on 25th September 2021, at Tata Power SRA – Chembur - Main Road, Mumbai with the support of Staff and workers.

Mr. Ashish Lonare – Project Manager – Tata Projects , took initiative for the cleanliness drive and participated with the volunteers. Approx. 30 kgs of waste was collected, segregated and handed over to our waste management vendor for appropriate disposal.

As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, online lecture was organised on Occupational Health to workers and staff by Dr. Snehal Gandhi and also a session on Solid Waste Management was conducted by Karmvir Rana( TPL employee).
 
  Distribution of school kits and mask to students Tata Projects
 
As a part of Tata Volunteering Week-16, Tata projects TCS pune site team distributed School Bags, Books and masks to School children at Zilla Parishad Primary School, Andeshe, Mulshi, Pune. 13 volunteers participated in the event
 
  “Swactha Abhiyaan” Cleanliness Drive The Tinplate Company of India Ltd
 
A team of Volunteers from TCIL along with the girls of C.D centre participated in “Swachhata Abhiyaan” – Cleanliness Drive today at Sidhgora Community Ground. With a motive to spread the message of keeping the surrounding clean and make the community a better place to live in volunteers actively involved themselves in picking up plastic waste and cleaning the ground area. The local residents appreciated this effort and pledged to keep the surrounding cleaned forever. Overall it was a great experience for all.
 
  Magic Show for the Children at village The Tinplate Company of India Ltd
 
Volunteers from TCIL organized a Magic Show for the children at Hurlung Village. A renowned Magician Mr. Munna Prasad conducted the Magic Show at the Primary Village Centre. It was a joyful moment for the children to witness such a program. The villagers also joined the show and enjoyed a lot.

It was a delightful moment to see the smile and happiness on the faces of these toddlers and elderly. Overall it was a great experience and the fun filled activity made everyone enjoy the moment.
 
  Tree Plantation Voltas
 
Voltas Limited, CR - Pantnagar plant team has done tree plantation at Government Primary School Shivpur & Anandkhera, Block - Gadarpur, District - Udham Singh Nagar (U.K.) along with the respective teachers and students. 74 plants were planted during the activity
