  Counselling the youth Tata Steel Long Products   
 
TSLP conducted interviews for the second phase of SUPER30, with an objective to create a marked difference into the lives of talented girls from communities. The volunteers counselled them to convert their dreams into a reality, which would otherwise not be possible for them, due to lack of financial and other constraints. TSLP partnered with National Institute of Technology, Jamshedpur in selecting the right candidates.
 
  Awareness session for adolescent girls Tata Steel Long Products   
 
HEALTH IS WEALTH - ‘Start the conversation and end the hesitation’ – Two awareness sessions were organised by the female volunteers for 200 adolescent girls of Vidya Bharati High School, Gamharia. The physical, social, economic, emotional aspects associated with menstrual cycle was discussed in details. Many girls opened-up and shared their individual experiences and difficulties.
 
  Inclusion, an Appropriate Solution Tata Steel Long Products   
 
Persons With Disability (PWD) is a vulnerable population, yet to find an adequate space in corporates for livelihood. The company organised a one-day orientation and training programme on diversity and inclusion in collaboration with Tata Steel Foundation and Enabled India. The full day training was conducted at SABAL, the center for abilities. Each volunteer was overwhelmed with the knowledge and the individual case history of the PWDs and the RPWD act dedicated for them. With the experiential learning of all the assistive aids used by PWDs have opened the eyes of volunteers. The day-long session was very enriching and impactful.
 
  Vocational skill development for young girls Tata Steel Long Products   
 
Ten young girls from the surrounding communities of the company’s operational area wanted to be individual cosmetologist and earn their living with dignity. TSLP inducted all these ten young aspirants to a six-month long course into VLCC, one of the leading professional agencies which is an expert in makeup, skin care and beauty products
 
  Clean and Green Initiatives Tata Steel Long Products   
 
Dugdha playground is a preferred destination for all the local talents of different sports such as Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Kho-Kho, Kabbadi and more. But the playground remained unnoticed after every tournament. Dirt, garbage, wastes of all usable materials articles spread all over the meadows. Supporters, spectators, viewers of each team never pay heed to maintain the cleanliness of the ground. TSLP Volunteers organised a cleaning drive with the help of local youth club members to upkeep the ground for future tournaments. Civil team of TSLP took the lead and spread a strong positive message to own the responsibility of each village asset by the users group. Key influential of panchayat were very happy to find such a so moto effort by company officials.
 
  Interacting with children from a Primary School Tata Steel UISL   
 
TATA STEEL UISL Real Estate department volunteers organized an interactive activity for students at Primary School, Dobo. Volunteers spend their time doing fun related activities with the kids. Along with this, stationary materials and sweets were also distributed to the students and the volunteers along with the children also enjoyed a lot and spent memorable moments.
 
  Agriculture Training Session at Kishan Vigyan Kendra, Gamaharia TATA Steel UISL   
 
Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd. CSR, NGO TRCSC volunteers organized two days training session on Commercial Vegetables Cultivation for farmers of Tata Steel UISL adopted villages in Anandpur, Pudisili, Darnigora, Dugni, and Parbatipur at Kishan Vigyan Kendra, Gamaharia. Total twenty-eight farmers were benefited from this training session. In this full day session farmers were given many better tips of commercial vegetable cultivation so that farmers can increase the yield in the fields
 
  Awareness on Water Born Diseases Tata Steel UISL   
 
Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Ltd. CSR, NGO TRCSC volunteers organized session on water-borne diseases for Mahila Mandal at Dobo and Pudisili. Through the volunteers, the women of the village were given information about which water-borne diseases are caused and the way to avoid those diseases was also told.

Plantation Drive at Puri Plantation Drive at New Labour Hutment, Kalinganagar
Tata Steel UISL KPO volunteers organized a plantation drive at Penthakta, Talabania Puri nearby Helipad. They planted saplings of almond, karanja, neem and Krushachuda for ecological balance of the school campus area. Tata Steel UISL KPO volunteers organized plantation drive at New Labour Hutment, Kalinganagar. They planted Polyalthia and Longifolia for ecological balance of the school campus area.
 
  Cleaning Drive at UMS Bhatia Basti Campus Tata Steel UISL   
 
Tata Steel UISL PHS volunteers organized cleaning drive with grass cutting in the campus at PPP Model School – UMS Bhatia Basti Kadma. The team spent quality time for the valuable work.
 
  Beach Cleaning IHCL SeleQtions   
 
Every year after Ganpati Visarjan, there is tonnes of trash left on our beaches that pollutes the water, damages marine life, and causes mass deaths. To clean up and safeguard both our marine life and the environment, a team of 30 volunteers of IHCL organised a beach cleaning activity. A total of 500 kgs of garbage was collected and discarded from the beach.
 
  Session on Women Hygiene IHCL- Taj Mahal, New Delhi   
 
A volunteer microbiologist of IHCL conducted a session at Samarpan Foundation in Mehrauli, New Delhi to raise awareness of personal hygiene among the women of lower socioeconomic strata. Distribution of dental kits with soaps was done while promoting good hygiene and an active lifestyle.
 
  Plantation Tata Chemicals   
 
On 13th September, the TCSRD team along with the employee volunteers organised a plantation drive. A total of 100 saplings of native species were planted behind the Hostel Complex, Mithapur.
 
  Session on Environment Tata Metaliks   
 
Volunteers organised a session on environmental protection, discussing the negative consequences of deforestation, and the importance of water conservation for the locals of Leluakola village. To reduce potential losses from a single crop, they also addressed the importance of diversifying their crops. Saplings of mango, lemon, and guava and a few timber plants were also distributed to the families in need.
 
  Health Camp at Iron Foundry Tata Metaliks   
 
In Parucco Iron Foundry, Hooghly volunteers of TML with CINI Chetana Resource Centre hosted a general health camp for 200 workers. The check-up process involved basic vital check, medicine distribution and counselling by the doctors.
 
  Interactive learning on Water Conservation Tata Metaliks   
 
The volunteers of TML organised a session on water conservation for the primary students of Abhaynagar Primary School under the TML300 Schools Project. They were educated on the sources of water, its significance, ways to store water, and the negative effects of water scarcity. Students were passionate about the subject.
 
  Mentoring the Youths of Vocational Training Centre Tata Power   
 
Volunteers of Tata Power interacted with the students of a Vocational Training Centre in Balasore, Odisha. The students received training on employment and the required skills to be job-ready. The volunteers also advised the students to enhance their soft skills.
 
  Cleanathon- A Beach Clean Up Tata Power   
 
100 volunteers from Tata Power along with their family members showed their support towards the environment by cleaning up the Juhu Beach. The theme was Earth Matters, and the activities included garbage separation, and collection of plastic debris.
 
  Blood Donation Camp Tata Projects ltd.   
 
Volunteers from Tata Projects organised a blood donation drive in conjunction with Think Foundation and Nowrosjee Wadia Maternity Hospital, Blood Bank. As a thank you, donor cards and certificates were shared with each donor. The blood donated, will be used to help children and patients. 250 people with thalassemia will receive free blood and blood products every other day from the blood bank.
