Tata Volunteering Week 15
Shatter the Status Quo

The 15th edition of Tata Volunteering Week (TVW15), launched on 3rd March 2021, successfully concluded on 31st March 2021. TVW15 offered a range of volunteering opportunities and witnessed the participation of senior leaders, colleagues, family members and retirees from across the globe, who came together to change the existing order by contributing their time and efforts to create a better world.

Over 2,200 volunteering activities were conducted by 42 Tata companies across 80+ locations. A total of 10,000+ volunteers took up causes ranging from COVID-19 awareness and precautionary measures to mentoring and counselling young adults. Our volunteers clocked more than 1.2 lakh+ hours reaching out to 1.3 lakh+ beneficiaries.

This edition witnessed unique activities which were executed both virtually and on-ground with utmost safety precautions, including activities ranging from making 60,000+ cotton balls for Indian Cancer Society, to financial literacy session for women and webinars covering a variety of topics such as how to grow kitchen garden by using plastic bottles. Companies also took the initiative to curate on-the-ground activities such as tree-plantation, food & linen donation and cleanliness drives. The spirit of volunteering shined through and the edition also saw many family members participate in activities. And that is how the volunteers shattered the status quo!

Glimpses of the kinds of volunteering activities undertaken by our volunteers through this period can be seen in ‘The Daily Vibe’ below. Many more photos and testimonials from our volunteers are available at our Facebook and LinkedIn pages as well as at the Tata Engage Experience Hub.
